In defence partnership news, the UK and the EU signed an expansive new agreement to deepen security and defence cooperation across a broad range of areas.

In drone news, Ukraine launched an attack on Russian strategic bombers using drones hidden in the roofs of mobile wooden cabins and placed on a truck - a true trojan horse. The operation was entirely remote, relying on Russian mobile network for communications.

In space news, China has raised vocal opposition to the Golden Dome. The Chinese foreign ministry said it carries "strong offensive implications" and heightens the risks of the militarisation of outer space and an arms race. It has urged Washington to abandon its development.

In space news, the US has unveiled plans for its ‘Golden Dome’ missile defence system. The American version of Israel’s Iron Dome is designed to counter next-generation aerial threats to the US, including ballistic and cruise missiles.

In Chinese aerospace news, Pakistan appeared to have shot down an Indian fighter jet using Chinese-made J-10C Vigorous Dragon warplanes. There is some debate as to whether this was a French-made Dassault Rafale or not. Pakistan claims that it was.

In autonomous maritime news, a Ukrainian maritime drone shot down a Russian Su-30 fighter jet. It is the first time a fast jet has been shot down by an uncrewed vessel.
